QUESTION:

Hey Carlos,

I just have a quick question. I am kind of insecure in the sense that I don't like to let anyone know that I am reading this stuff because its almost as if I feel I want it to appear natural rather than learned.

The problem is that I don't know if its better to reveal to some people (like my parents) that I am reading this but I think they have a sense of it because my brother (who knows I read this) says some things about it to my parents.

Now, do you think it's a big idea to let some people know that I do educate myself in this field? I don't want my parents to think that I am manipulating women (which I truly feel that this stuff is NOT manipulation, its a way to bring out another part of your personality), but I can predict that's what they will think.

What is your take on this Carlos?

CARLOS SEES A FINE LINE:

The trickiest part of learning about how to get with women is how to handle your growth process with other people.

Weird, huh?

I mean, the actual process of seduction, dating, etc., really isn't all that hard once you get the fundamentals.

Guys today have this sorry state of mind programmed into them from an early age. When you're in a single-parent household, it's usually a mom who has the custody.

Consider this: According to the U.S. Census Current Population Report on Custodial Mothers and Fathers and their Child Support: About 5 of every 6 custodial parents were mothers (84.4 percent) and 1 in 6 were fathers (15.6 percent).

(I won't even shock you with the unbelievable statistics regarding men and women as single-parents.)

Now, most women out there just don't know the first thing about what it is they really want. Ask any guy out there who's ever tried to find out by asking them.

So do you think women are educating their sons with the kind of information I'm sharing?

Uh, NO.

Now, in families where both parents are around, 9 times out of 10 the man in the house either:

- Doesn't really know all that much about what makes women interested.

OR

- Is scared to appear anything less than completely supportive for any of the anti-male Political BS stuff out there, primarily for fear that he'll offend mommy, and therefore not get any. He doesn't want to rock the boat.

So most boys are brought up to revere and worship women as these sacred beings of goodness and light.

Girls are sugar and spice and everything nice. Boys are snips and snails and puppy dog tails.

Wow, that's a great boost for male self-confidence, huh? But that's how boys grow up.

But what has this got to do with your parent's knowing how you're educating yourself to this stuff?

EXACTLY!

My answer is a question right back atcha:

Why in the world do your parents have to know ANYTHING about what you're learning?

This is YOUR education.

As I always say, I teach the information your dad wished he knew, or is too afraid to speak out loud.

You know it's the truth, but you're not quite convinced yet. It hasn't sunk in at a deep level yet. That's why part of you is embarrassed and would probably rather be caught naked with Michael Jackson in a hot tub full of baby oil than have it known that you went to a BOOK (gasp) to find out the truths your parents wouldn't - and COULDN'T tell you.

But the other part of you is opening its eyes. You KNOW that this just makes SENSE. It seems contrary to what the other guys (who are not very successful, by the way) are telling you, or the media.

I have to salute you for doing what most guys aren't willing to do, which is sit down and LEARN the Truth.

And what is that thing that blocks men from learning? From being coachable?

Most guys have a huge, three-letter word that stops from getting REAL success with women.

EGO.

They'd rather die than admit they just don't know it all about women. If they were to appear as if they didn't have this stuff programmed in since birth, they'd die of shame. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that a small portion of you reading this right now doesn't want to own up to being anything less than good with women. He tells himself he's reading this to get a little extra insight, but it's probably nothing he didn't already know.

Now you feel almost the same way, but you still did the right thing and got information on how to get good with women, and for that, you're already a success in my book. Once you see what's going on between men and women, your life is changed forever.

I mean that.

For GOOD.

Now, there are two ways you can approach this situation. Let's look at both of them:

1) You let yourself secretly feel as if you're a Bad Guy. A manipulator. A Jerk.

2) You persist on the path of the Truth and stop caring about what other people think about you.

Yes, underneath it all, you're still in a dangerous stage of your education. You're going to be tempted by the Dark Side.

"Hey, dude, you should send her flowers to let her know you like her..."

"Why not just tell her your true feelings? That's all a woman wants to hear."

"Oh, sweetie, you shouldn't read that stuff. It's written by guys who treat women like dirt."

"Don't listen to that guy... Let ME tell you about women..."

"Take her out to dinner and treat her nice. That's how you impress a woman."

(Insert uncontrollable vomiting here...)

You'd be amazed how many guys still fall back on those methods, and when they do, they fail almost EVERY time.

I suggest this approach:

1) Keep studying and learning. You're coming along great. Don't EVER give up.

2) Keep your studies to yourself. Most of your friends and "well meaning" relatives will try to stifle your new success with their own opinions. And most of them (no insult to your family, dude) don't have the first clue about this stuff.

3) Don't tell anyone what you're doing that won't support you 100% in your progress toward success. Most guys out there, sorry to say, aren't supportive of their friends who are successful with women. They're jealous. And they'll feel that way about you, too.

Hey, it's lonely at the top. Only about 10% of guys are TRULY able to see what's going on with women. It's a VERY small number.

And remember, just because a guy has a girlfriend he's boinking, it doesn't mean he's successful with women. Everyone gets lucky. Me? I don't believe in luck.

I MAKE IT.

Let me guess something. Deep inside you KNOW this isn't manipulation or taking advantage of women, but you're still insecure because you know that if you had to explain WHY it wasn't to your parents or relatives, you'd be at a loss and feel foolish, like you couldn't really say why. It would be really hard for you to be convincing with your argument.

I'm right, aren't I?

It's really just a lack of faith in your own ability.

Once you've repeated your successes a few times, and really worked these methods and strategies that I give you in the e-book, you'll be able to come up with the rationale behind why it works, and why it's right. For women AND men.

"You know, women want a man who acts like a MAN, not a wimp. I'm just learning how to give women what they really want."

Don't worry, you don't have to defend this right now. All you have to do is work on the skills. Let me do the talking for now.

Keep going until this all feels "natural."
